Brúðkaups- og skírnar/sængurgjafarkort - Wedding and baby cards

Ég var eins og flest alla daga að skoða allskonar skrapptengda hluti á vefnum og rakst á þessa síðu http://www.jakheath.com/ og fékk smá innblástur í að búa til kort.  Upprunalega var hugmyndin sú að gera brúðkaupskort en mamma sá svo kortið og fannst það svo týpískt eitthvað sem skírnar eða sængurgjafarkort að ég ákvað að prufa að gera eitt blátt og eitt bleikt líka.

Kortin eru öll gerð á Whisper White SU pappír sem er þrykktur í Cuttlebug.  Fiðrildin eru pönsuð út með SU pöns og þrykkt í Cuttlebug og svo límdi ég á perlur.  Mótin eru svo skorin út með Nestabilities og Cuttlebug, stungin og Sticklesuð og stimpluð með Versamark og helt ofan í það perluhvítu emboss dufti og svo hitað.

Hvíta og kremaða kortið notast einnig við Very Vanilla pappír frá SU og borða sem ég átti í safninu mínu.
Bleika og bláu kortin notast við SU cardstock.

I was surfing the web as usual looking for some inspiration and found this website http://www.jakheath.com/.  She makes some wonderful cards and I was inspired to create the cards below after looking at her website.  I would really recommend you check her website out.

Originally I wanted to make a wedding card, but my mom saw the cards and felt they could also be used as baby cards so I decided to make them as well in pink and blue.

All of the cards are made with Whisper White SU paper and embossed in my Cuttlebug.  The butterflies are an SU punch and embossed in Cuttlebug and then I glued pearls on with my glue dots.  I stamped the text with Versamark and used pearlwhite emboss powder and my heat gun.  The rest is cut out with my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities.  Then I used some Diamon Stickles on everything.  The ribbons are just something I had in my collection.

The white/cream card also uses the Very Vanilla SU paper and the blue and pink card also use SU cardstock.
